Help from Prevagen

I am new to this site but I thought that other parents may be interested in looking into a product that has demonstrated some improvement with our daughter. Nicole is our youngest daughter, she turns 11 in May of 2010. Nicole was born with an undiagnosed learning disability - Doctors have considered 'mild autism', and some tendencies of Asperger's syndrome and most agree that she has ADD. Nicole has had the same special Ed teachers since 1st grade (2005 - 2006) and in 2nd grade (Dec 2006) she started on a transdermal patch for ADD. The teachers reported some improvement, mostly with mood - still problems with focus and social skills. Sometime in 2008 we discovered that some parents of Autistic and ADD kids, were seeing some improvement in their child's development by supplementing with Prevagen. In October of 2008 we decided to add Prevagen to Nicole's vitamin set (1 multi vitamin and 1 omega 3) in the morning. After about 3 weeks, one of Nicole's teachers asked my wife if we had changed Nicole's medication (or did we put her on something new) because they had all noticed a marked improvement in her behavior - the teachers had noticed much greater focus, Nicole was now proactive in her routine - she did not need the kind of regular prompting that they were used to giving her. The teachers agreed that she was having a 'break through' year. We also noticed improvement at home. Nicole continues to take Prevagen and she continues to improve at school - and we believe that there is a direct link. If you are interested in looking into this, go to prevagen.com. John
